A Poem for you.....

Hello My Dear,

Mommy and I went last week to the doctor to take a peek at you again. And you are so active inside your mom - kicking your legs and sucking your thumb.

Doctor said its a very good sign that you are very active - sign that everything is good with you. We are sure that you are going to be active after you are born as well, and going to keep us busy running after you. May be you will turn out to be a atheletic champion like your mom, and not a couch potato like me - which would make me very proud.

We will be going again next month to visit the doctor - to look how you look, as your mom will enter the 5th month of the pregnancy. We are already excited to see how much more you would have grown by that time and how more active you would be on that visit....

We are so excitedly waiting for your birth, that I wrote you a poem on Tamil to indicate, how much eagerly we are waiting for that day.....


காத்து தான் இருக்கிறோம்

அம்மாவின் வயிற்றில் அழகாய் வளர்ந்து,
      ஆனந்தத்தை எங்களுக்கு தினம் தரும் செல்லமே !
இனிய உந்தன் குரலினை சீக்கிரம்  கேட்டிட 
      ஈகையாய் நாங்கள் காத்து தான் இருக்கிறோம் !!!

உன்னை தினம் தினம் தாய் தமிழில் கொஞ்சிட,  
        ஊக்கம் குடுத்து உந்தன் திறமைகளை வளர்த்திட, 
எங்கள் பாசம் அனைத்தும் உன் மேல் கொட்டிட,
        ஏரி , மலை, சமுத்திரம் அனைத்தும்  
ஐந்து விரல் பற்றி உனக்கு  சுற்றி காட்டிட காத்து தான் இருக்கிறோம்....

ஒவ்வொரு நாளும் நாங்கள் காத்து தான் இருக்கிறோம்  , உந்தன் அழுகை 
      ஓசை கேட்கும் நாள் வெகு விரைவில் வரும் என காத்து தான் இருக்கிறோம்

A Drawing for you.....

Hi My dear Child,

Do you know that your mom is a very good artist and she likes to draw. Here is a special drawing that she drew just for you...

You are Growing Baby......

Wow, you have grown so much over the last 3 weeks. We saw you again through Scan, and now you were almost 4 cm. The doctor said you were perfectly normal and growing as expected, bringing much cheer to me and your mom.

The doctor also confirmed the date you are supposed to be born - Dec 21st. Let us see, what you decide to do - whether you decide to come out of your mothers tummy well before Dec 21st or if you decide to stay for for little more time inside the safety of her tummy.

So now your mom is 11 weeks pregnant now - you must have started kicking and stretching now - even though its going to take few more weeks, before your mom can feel your soccer kicks. Your tooth buds also must be starting to form - get them to ready as must you use them to eat delicious recipes prepared by your mom as you grow.

We will again go to the doctor in 2 weeks time, to take a peek at you again. The 2 weeks will also mark the end of first trimester - the first 3 months of pregnancy. So your mom will also be more relaxed in 2 weeks time. I will come and share with you on how much you have grown then....
